My brother, sis-in-law, their five-year-old, their friend, her husband and their four-year-old are all running from the storm. Together. They plan on camping because OMG, IT'S HEADED THIS WAAAAAYYYY!!!
As if.
All predictions have it heading to Mobile (to all my Alabama peeps: stay safe!)and at the worst it may come here. After Ivan, I am so not running away. Since Cindy came to visit, I'm not the least bit worried. Not to mention the mere thought of traveling on these roads has me nauseous.
So the husband is battening down the hatches, we've some water and canned food just in case. Our homeowner's insurance is current, there's always the boat if water gets high.
I'd type more but the Demoral is making the keys swim a bit.
